Speed read classic novels

Press play to give it a try.

This website is designed to help you read classic novels faster. You can control the reading panel by starting and pausing the text. You can also move forward and backward by one sentence, or you can return to the beginning of the text. As you get better at using the reading panel you will want to move up to a faster speed. You must be logged in to go faster than 450 words per minute. Experimenting with different speeds will allow you to develop your own rhythm. You will begin to understand how different vocabulary densities at different speeds affect your comprehension.
